The characters and expressions were chosen randomly with dice!

(I did two other pages of these, one with the villains, and another with Flan Girl and other spoilery characters. I may share the former next week, but the latter I probably won’t show until The Magical Girl in PROXY is complete.)

Anyway, I’ve been making progress with the code for Flan Clicker! As for the art, it turned out I had deleted what I had drawn for the dress up game some time over the summer… But don’t worry, I was thinking about redoing the art at a higher resolution anyway, so it’s not really a big loss!

For starters, this will be the last Magical Girl Monday posted directly to Facebook/Tumblr/Instagram. But that’s because I imported the Tumblr into WordPress! From now on, the MGM updates will be on the PROXY FLANS WordPress, and I’ll link to them here.

Secondly, I’ve started making a PROXY FLANS Wikia! I’ve been inputting tidbits of character info, some of which I’ve already revealed, and some of which is new.

And finally, I really wanted to have a good chunk of The Magical Girl in PROXY done by the end of the year, code-wise, but if that were to happen I’d have to have a lot of the dialogue done, and lots of object placeholders for not only the boys in the classroom, but locations.

I think it would be best to have a simpler, polished game by the end of the year. So! In the meantime, I’ll be working on… Flan Clicker!

As you can tell from the name, Flan Clicker will be a clicker game. But, it will also incorporate my dress up game concept!

With Flan Clicker, I’ll be able to develop the girls’ personalities more through their clothing… And maybe some one-liners!

Here’s a sketch that summarizes the dynamic between Aki and Miku.

Q: Why is Aki on the desk?

A: She likes to be tall.

Q: Is Aki’s laugh really so bad that it warrants breaking/flipping a desk?

A: For Miku? Yes. And this is one of the many reasons she requested a different seat in their first year. And to never be grouped with her for any assignments. Unfortunately, the latter request can’t always be fulfilled.
